My 6-year-old son loved the book. He read it all right away. I like the chapter formart - makes it easier for a new reader.

The book was bought for my two boys for bedtime reading. It is a sturdy book and they enjoy listening to it.

This little book reminds me of part comic book. It has big text and little pictures, some with word balloons. This is really not what I was looking for for the grandkids, but I am sure one will appreciate it at the right time. They are all little now.

I still own this book from the early 80s and it defined for me the idea of King Aurthur along with the movie The Sword in the Stone. It was later on I saw Excalibur or played the PC game Spirit of Excalibur. This book was the beginning and the pictures and abridged story really do get the idea of Aurthur and his knights. I highly recommend it for kids who are interested in knights and fantasy.
